
The Shottenkirk Automotive Group Automotive Excellence Awards were created to have an annual celebration of our top performers from across the country! Team members in the roles of Sales Associate, Business Manager, Sales Manager, Service Technician, Service Advisor, and Service Manager are eligible to earn recognition, prizes, and an Elite level trip with a guest to attend the Night of Honors Banquet and receive stage recognition in front of the other elite performers from our organization.
*In our continued efforts to make the awards playing field as equal and fair as possible, we have removed the C.S.I. qualifiers from all AEA categories due to some manufacturers not currently measuring customer satisfaction.

All sales numbers are based on finalized retail (non-fleet) sales for the 2024 calendar year.

VARIABLE ELITE POSITIONS
Elite recognition for all variable positions is based on being a top achiever from one of three geographical regions. Region 1 consists of all Texas locations. Region 2 consists of all Iowa, Illinois, and California locations. Region 3 consists of all Georgia and Alabama locations. Variable Elite recognition is available for Sales Associates, Business Managers, and Sales Managers.

TOP 10 Gold-Level qualifiers in sales volume from each awards region with gross being the tie-breaker in the event of a tie. If you are Top 10 in your region but have not achieved Gold-Level, you will not be qualified as Elite.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
TOP 15 IMPORT & TOP 10 DOMESTIC technicians in tech efficiency based on combined CP and warranty. Qualifiers must be active and current on all required manufacturer training(s).
SERVICE ADVISOR
TOP 10 IMPORT, TOP 8 DOMESTIC, TOP JLR*, & TOP LEXUS* in combined lowest score in the two categories of Total Customer Pay Gross (parts and labor) and Average Gross per Customer Pay R.O. (parts and labor). Qualifiers must be active and current on all required manufacturer training(s).
BUSINESS MANAGER
TOP 5 in F&I combined lowest score for your region in the categories of Back End Gross PVR, VSC Percentage and Products Per Deal. Only "upsold" products count for the scoring categories. Back-end gross will be the tie-breaker.
Scoring Model: All three categories will be scored on rank from first to last against all of the other Finance Managers in your region. For example, if there are 24 Finance Managers in your region and you are first in a category among the group then you will receive 1 point, If you are ranked 19th, then you will receive 19 points and so on. The goal is to achieve the lowest combined score possible as in golf. See the full list of qualifiers below:
• you must have contracted a minimum of 500 sold deals for the calendar year
• you must achieve a minimum qualifier of 65% VSC on your qualifying deals
SALES MANAGER
TOP 5 in combined lowest score for your region in the categories of Total Gross PVR and Total Sold Deals Worked. Total gross PVR will be used as the tie-breaker if needed.
Scoring Model: Both categories will be scored on rank from first to last against all of the other Sales Managers in your region. For example, if there are 24 Sales Managers in your region and you are first in a category among the group then you will receive 1 point, If you are ranked 19th, then you will receive 19 points and so on. The goal is to achieve the lowest combined score possible as in golf. See the full list of qualifiers below:
• you must have worked 500 sold deals at your qualifying location for 2025
FIXED ELITE POSITIONS
The 2025 Elite recognition for all fixed positions is based on being a top achiever from either the Import or Domestic categories as opposed to geographical regions. To create a more level playing field, there is one exception in the Service Advisor category. This category will be based on import, domestic, Jaguar/Land Rover, and Lexus. Fixed Elite recognition is available for Service Technicians, Service Advisors, and Service Managers.

(*JLR and Lexus count as stand-alone locations and are not part of the import group for this category only)
SERVICE MANAGER
TOP IMPORT & TOP DOMESTIC service departments in 2025 year-end adjusted net gross.
• Adjusted Net is defined as gross minus variable (comp, advertising, good will, etc...) expense
• department must be active and current on all required manufacturer training(s)
Scoring Model: Both categories will be scored on rank from first to last against all of the other Service Advisors in your category (domestic or import). For example, if there are 24 Service Advisors in your category and you are first among the group then you will receive 1 point, If you are ranked 19th, then you will receive 19 points and so on. The goal is to achieve the lowest combined score possible as in golf. See the full list of qualifiers below:
• you must achieve a minimum of 1,000 R.O.'s for 2025 to qualify

All elite level qualifiers will receive an Elite Level Certificate, Elite Recognition Ring (or an added diamond to an existing ring), Elite Level Gift Card, Elite Crystal Award, and an all-expenses paid trip for themselves and a guest to the Night of Honors banquet at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas at the end of February. This is a world-class event where we will honor you in front of your peers, Shottenkirk management team, and most importantly the special person you bring as your guest. Dinner will be served, door prizes given away, and you will walk the stage to receive your Elite level awards and shake hands with Shottenkirk Automotive Group leadership. See you there!
